Majesty of the Seas Leaves Royal Caribbean Again?

1 April 2016

Changing course again, Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas cruise ship will be transfered from Royal Caribbean International (RCI) to the combined fleet of Pullmantur/CDF Croisieres de France in 2018, according to Seatrade Cruise News.

The Seatrade report is based on comments by the general manager of CDF Croisieres de France, Antoine Lacarriere. Royal Caribbean denies the claim.

Majesty of the Seas Leaves Royal Caribbean Again?

"At this time, we have no plans to transfer Majesty of the Seas to Pullmantur. Especially since we just invested so much money in refurbishing Majesty for the Royal Caribbean International fleet," said Cynthia Martinez, director of Global Corporate Communications for the company, when asked by CruiseCritic.
Royal Caribbean originally planned to move the vessel to Pullmantur this spring, but later decided to keep it in the Royal Caribbean fleet after determining Pullmantur, company's Spanish arm, had to be restructured. The first planned move was issued by CDF Croisieres de France and denied by RCC until a few months later. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is parent company of all three brands.

Until she transfers out of  RCI fleet, Majesty of the Seas will offer short Bahamas voyages out of Port Canaveral.
