Aranui 5 to Offer Extended 2017 Schedule

11 April 2016

The regional representative in Australia & New Zealand for Aranui Cruises, Laurent Wong, announced that the 2017 programme of Aranui 5, which replaced Aranui 3, had been extended because of the consumer demand.

Custom-built Aranui 5 made her maiden cruise from Papeete in December 2015.

The 2017 programme of the passenger freighter will include a couple of new 14-day voyages across 3 French Polynesian archipelagoes, which brings the total departures out of Papeete in 2017 to 19.

Laurent Wong said the company was thrilled with the reception Aranui 5 had received, especially out of Australasia region where bookings were tipped to double in 2016. He said:

‘While our new ship offers 25% more capacity than Aranui 3, most of this year’s cruises are already fully booked and we have decided to introduce two additional voyages in 2017 to help satisfy demand.’
